What we actually do

One freight partner instead of six.

Most shipping programs grow by accident. A truckload broker gets added for the big lanes, an LTL provider for the small stuff, a customs broker for the border, a forwarder for the overseas containers, and a 3PL for the pallets that need storing. Each one is competent in isolation. Together they produce five sets of paperwork, five reference numbers, and nobody who can answer where the freight is without calling somebody else first.

Qeep Logistics is built to collapse that. Every service on this page is run by the same operations team, on the same systems, under one point of contact who knows your freight by name rather than by ticket number. When an ocean container needs to become a dray, a transload and a final-mile truckload, it stays with the same person the whole way through.

We are a non-asset broker by design. We do not own trailers, which means we are never trying to fill our own equipment at your expense — we source the right carrier for the lane from a vetted network, and we tell you when a cheaper mode would serve you better than the one you asked for.

Group 01

Truckload and road freight

The backbone of North American freight. Choose full truckload when you have enough volume to fill a trailer or the freight is too fragile to be handled twice; choose LTL when you are moving one to six pallets and can trade a day or two of transit for a much lower rate. Trailer type follows the commodity: dry van for the majority of packaged goods, flatbed or step deck for anything that cannot be loaded through a rear door, and temperature-controlled equipment for food, pharmaceuticals and anything with a defined temperature range on the bill of lading.

Group 02

Time-critical and specialized

When the standard transit plan will not hold, or the freight itself is the complication. Expedited runs team drivers or dedicated sprinters straight through to protect a line-down or a missed appointment. White glove covers inside delivery, placement, debris removal and freight that cannot arrive on a curb. Project logistics handles the moves that need permits, route surveys and escorts before a truck is even ordered — and parcel covers everything small enough that a truckload quote would be the wrong answer entirely.

Group 03

Cross-border and international

Freight that crosses a border fails on paperwork far more often than it fails on trucks. Our cross-border desks pre-clear Canada-US and Mexico shipments before the driver reaches the crossing, work directly with your customs broker on PAPS, PARS and ACE filings, and keep the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin moving in step with the trailer. Customs brokerage sits underneath all of it — entries filed by licensed brokers on both sides of the border, CARM and Commercial Accounting Declarations into Canada, ACE and ISF into the United States, and export declarations out. Ocean and air freight extend the same discipline overseas, with China-to-Canada handled as a single managed lane from factory floor to final delivery.

Group 04

Ports, rail and warehousing

The services that keep freight moving between modes instead of sitting still and accruing charges. Drayage pulls containers off the terminal before demurrage starts. Intermodal converts long-haul truck miles to rail for a materially lower cost per mile when transit allows. Transloading strips ocean containers into domestic trailers so you are not paying per-diem on equipment you do not own. Warehousing and managed transportation sit above all of it when you would rather hand over the whole function than manage it lane by lane.

Choosing a mode

Which freight mode fits your shipment?

A quick reference for the decision most shippers are actually making. Transit figures are typical North American planning numbers, not guarantees — your lane, season and appointment requirements move all of them.

Common questions

Freight service questions, answered straight.

What freight services does Qeep Logistics offer?

Qeep Logistics offers 22 freight services across North America: full truckload, dry van, less-than-truckload, flatbed, temperature-controlled, produce, expedited, white glove, heavy haul, project logistics, parcel, Canada-US cross-border, Mexico cross-border, customs brokerage, China-to-Canada, ocean freight, air freight, drayage, intermodal, transloading, warehousing and managed transportation. All of them are run by one team under one point of contact rather than being brokered out to separate providers.

How do I know which freight mode I need?

Start with volume, then speed, then commodity. One to six pallets of packaged goods is usually LTL. Ten or more pallets, fragile freight, or a tight delivery window points to full truckload. Anything over roughly 700 miles that is not time-sensitive is worth pricing as intermodal. Freight that cannot be loaded through a rear door needs flatbed or step deck, and anything with a temperature on the bill of lading needs a reefer. If you are not sure, send the dimensions, weight, pickup and delivery postal codes and the required delivery date and we will price the two or three modes that actually fit.

How fast can I get a freight quote?

Most quotes come back in about ten minutes during business hours. Truckload and LTL quotes on established lanes are usually fastest; cross-border, project and over-dimensional freight take longer because they require permit, routing or customs checks before a number is worth quoting.

Do you handle cross-border freight into Canada and Mexico?

Yes. Canada-US cross-border and Mexico cross-border are dedicated service lines, not an add-on. We work with your customs broker on PAPS, PARS and ACE filings, verify the commercial invoice and certificate of origin before the driver reaches the crossing, and coordinate with carriers who are already bonded and familiar with the port of entry on your lane.

Can Qeep Logistics manage more than one mode on the same shipment?

Yes, and it is common. A typical China-to-Canada move is ocean freight, port drayage, transloading into a domestic trailer, and final-mile truckload — four services on one shipment with one reference number and one specialist accountable for all of it. That single-owner model is the main reason shippers consolidate modes with us instead of running a different broker per leg.

Is there a minimum shipment size?

No. We move single parcels through multi-trailer project freight. Below about one pallet, parcel is almost always the right answer and we will tell you so rather than quoting an LTL shipment you do not need.

What does a freight quote need to include?

Pickup and delivery postal codes, pallet or piece count, dimensions, total weight, commodity description, whether either location needs a liftgate or an appointment, and the required delivery date. For cross-border freight add the commercial value and country of origin. With those details a quote is a firm number rather than an estimate that changes after pickup.

Do you serve shippers outside of Ontario?

Yes. Qeep Logistics is based in Ontario but operates across all ten Canadian provinces, the continental United States and Mexico. Coverage is carrier-based rather than terminal-based, so a lane does not need to touch our home market to be served well.
